Merrick Bremner (born 26 March 1986) is a South African professional golfer. He plays on the Sunshine Tour, where he has won eight times. Professional career In 2012, Bremner led by two strokes after the first round of the SA Open Championship. He shot a course record 64 at Serengeti GC and eventually finished the tournament in a tie for 33rd after carding an 80 in the final round. Sir Merrick Richard Cockell (born 16 June 1957) is a Conservative politician in the United Kingdom, former Leader of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and former Chairman of the Local Government Association. He was made a Knight Bachelor in 2010. Early life Cockell was born on 16 June 1957 to Peter Colvile Cockell and Hildegard Christina Cockell (née Kern). He was educated at Pierrepont School, Frensham. Career Cockell became a trader with F. M. Barshall Ltd. From 1977 to 1982, he served the company overseas in Ghana, Togo, Sierra Leone, Gambia, and China. Merrick Fry
Merrick Fry is an Australian artist who was born in Bathurst in 1950. Fry studied at the East Sydney Technical College (now the National Art School) from 1970 to 1972, graduating in 1973 In 1985, Fry wrote and illustrated Stick in the Mud. In the same year, critic John Macdonald described his work as an "intimate view of the bush". Fry created the images for the Wooly Mammoth Campaign and Annandale Heritage Festival. Bathurst Regional Art Gallery has 25 works by Merrick Fry. Merrick Brian Garland (born November 13, 1952) is an American lawyer and jurist serving since March 2021 as the 86th United States attorney general. He previously served as a U.S. circuit judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 1997 to 2021. A native of the Chicago area, Garland attended Harvard University for his undergraduate and legal education. After serving as a law clerk to Judge Henry J. Friendly of the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Supreme Court Justice William J. Merrick Thomson (born September 9, 1983) is a former professional lacrosse player from Hamilton, Ontario. He played the attack position for the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse and for the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League. College career Thomson played collegiate lacrosse at the University at Albany. He was co-captain of the Great Danes, alongside Frank Resetarits, and helped lead his team to the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship tournament as a senior. Thomson made an immediate impact in the NCAA. He is best known for performing stand-up comedy and radio works as part of the comedy duo Merrick and Rosso with Tim Ross. Merrick Wing
Merrick Wing (September 10, 1833 – April 11, 1895) was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate. Wing was born in Hinsdale, Massachusetts. He attended the University of Michigan Law School and moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin in 1863. Wing married twice. His first marriage was to Hannah Amanda Palmer on March 22, 1859. They had one daughter. His second marriage was to Emeline Eliza Sherwood on August 29, 1865. They had four children. Wing died on April 11, 1895. Career Wing, a Republican Party (United States), Republican, was first elected to the Senate in 1876. After not running for re-election, his seat was won by Gysbert Van Steenwyk, Sr. (also a Republican). In 1880, Wing ran and was re-elected to the Senate. He was succeeded in 1882 by Donald A.
