Eduard Meron (or Edward Maron; ar, إدوارد موارن, he, אדוארד מרון; born 1938) is an Arab-Israeli former Olympic weightlifter. He was born in Haifa, Mandatory Palestine. Meron is an Arab-Israeli Maronite Christian, and of Lebanese descent. Meron said in 2012 that he was certain that Israeli Olympic representation, which has seen few Arabs, is determined only according to criteria: "There’s a minimum you have to meet, and if Arab athletes didn’t meet the minimum, that means that they weren’t good enough." Hanna Maron ( he, חנה מרון; 22 November 1923 – 30 May 2014) was a German-born Israeli actress, comedian and theater personality. She held the world record for the longest career in theater. Life and career Hanna Meierzak was born in Berlin, Germany on 22 November 1923. As a child, she appeared in several plays, films, and radio plays. In 1931 she appeared uncredited in Fritz Lang's '' M''. She attended a Montessori school where she learned French. In 1932, she spent a year in Paris. With partner Craig Zadan he ran the production company Storyline Entertainment until Zadan's death in 2018. Meron continues to run the company. Theodor Meron
Theodor Meron, (born 28 April 1930) is an Israeli-American judge. He served as a judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR), and the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (Mechanism). He served as President of the ICTY four times (2002-2005 and 2011–15) and inaugural President of the Mechanism for three terms (2012–19). Early life Born in Kalisz, Poland, to a Jewish family.
