Asian Tour
The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf tour in Asia except for Japan, which has its own Japan Golf Tour, which is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours. Official money events on the tour count for World Golf Ranking points. The Asian Tour is administered from Singapore. It is controlled by a board with a majority of professional golfers, and a Tournament Players Committee of its player members, supported by an executive team. Stroke play, also known as medal play, is a scoring system in the sport of golf in which the total number of strokes is counted over one or more rounds of 18 holes. Zaw Moe (born 28 June 1967) is a Burmese professional golfer. He turned professional in 1989 and begun to have success on the Asian circuit. Peter Teravainen
Peter Teravainen (born April 23, 1956) is an American professional golfer. He briefly played on the PGA Tour, in 1980, but did not have much success. For the remainder of his career he primarily played overseas, culminating with wins at the 1995 Czech Open on the European Tour and the 1996 Japan Open on the Japan Golf Tour. Early life Teravainen was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts and raised in Duxbury, Massachusetts. His father was a high school athletic director and basketball coach. His mother was a nurse. He is one of four children. Amateur career Teravainen attended Tabor Academy and Yale University on scholarship. He played on the Yale Bulldogs golf team at college. Nicholas Marthinus van Rensburg (born 24 August 1966) is a South African professional golfer who currently plays on the Sunshine Tour. He has won on the Sunshine Tour six times between 1989 and 2005. Don Fardon (born Donald Arthur Fardon, 19 August 1940, Coventry, Warwickshire, England) is an English pop singer. Fardon is best known for his cover of the song " Indian Reservation" (1968), a UK number 3 hit and global million selling disc. He also wrote the football anthem " Belfast Boy" about George Best. Career Prior to becoming a singer, Fardon worked as a draughtsman for Alfred Herberts Ltd in Coventry. Before his solo success, Fardon was a singer with The Sorrows.
