Mere (album)
deLillos is a Norwegian pop rock band formed in Oslo in 1984. They are generally regarded as one of the "Four Greats" in modern Norwegian pop music, i.e. one of the four 1980s groups that founded a new tradition for rock music with lyrics in Norwegian. The remaining three "Greats" are DumDum Boys, Raga Rockers and Jokke & Valentinerne. History The group was formed in 1984 by Lars Lillo-Stenberg with bassist and occasional vocalist Lars Fredrik Beckstrøm and drummer Rune Lindstrøm. In 1985, Lindstrøm left the band to join the Hare Krishna movement and was replaced by Øystein Jevanord. In 1988, Jevanord left and was replaced by Øystein Paasche. In 1992, the band added guitarist Lars Lundevall. The most recent studio album credited to deLillos was ''Midt i begynnelsen'' from 2002. Both Lars Lillo-Stenberg and Lars Fredrik Beckstrøm have released several solo albums. The debut album ''Suser avgårde'' (1986) is still one of deLillos' most popular records. In 2005, ... Pop Rock
Pop rock (also typeset as pop/rock) is a fusion genre and form of rock music characterized by a strong commercial appeal, with more emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft, and less emphasis on attitude than standard rock music. Bel Canto (band)
Bel Canto is a Norwegian music duo, originally a trio, fronted by vocalist Anneli Drecker, and signed originally to Crammed Discs. Biography Bel Canto was formed in 1985 in Tromsø by Geir Jenssen (synthesizer, programming), Nils Johansen (synthesizer, violin, bass guitar, guitar) and vocalist Anneli Drecker. Asked about early influences, Drecker mentioned OMD, David Bowie, 4AD-artists, Clannad, Kate Bush, Laurie Anderson, David Sylvian, YMO and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Depeche Mode, and the Blue Nile, among others. Bel Canto was one of the first Norwegian bands to sign a record contract abroad. The trio moved to Brussels in 1986 and had their debut album '' White-Out Conditions'' released by Crammed Discs the following year. After a second album, '' Birds of Passage'' (1990), Jenssen left the band for a solo career as Biosphere. Tre Små Kinesere are a pop group based in Trondheim, Norway which, since their beginning in the 1990s, have defined their own acoustic style. They recorded nine albums between then and 2004 to come back in 2010. The band was composed of Ulf Risnes (vocals and guitar), Øystein Hegge (vocals and keyboard), and Baard Slagsvold (vocals and bass). History Tre Små Kinesere was established in 1988, when the band recorded a track for the compilation album '' Den akustiske gitarliga''. Elling
''Elling'' is a Norwegian Black comedy film directed by Petter Næss.
