Münir Levent Mercan (born 10 December 2000) is a German footballer who plays as a defender for Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe. Career Early career Before joining FC Schalke 04 Academy in 2016, Mercan played at youth level for various clubs in the Ruhr region, such as PSV Recklinghausen (2005-2010), VfB Hüls (2010-2011), VfL Bochum (2011-2012) and Rot-Weiss Essen (2012-2016). Schalke Mercan made his professional debut for Schalke 04 in the DFB-Pokal on 10 August 2019. Neşe Mercan (born 19 September 1994) is a Turkish female Paralympian goalball player. She is a member of the national team. Early years Neşe Mercan was born in İskenderun of Hatay Province, Turkey on 19 September 1994. Sporting career Mercan was a member of the women's national goalball team at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She won the gold medal with her teammates at the Paralympics. In 2018, she enjoyed her national team's silver medal win at the Goalball World Championships in Malmö, Sweden. She was part of the national team, which became champion at the 2019 IBSA Goalball European Championship held in Rostock, Germany. Mercan Dede (born Arkın Ilıcalı, 1966), also known as DJ Arkin Allen, is a Turkish-Canadian composer, ney and bendir player, DJ, and producer. He is a world music artist, playing a fusion of traditional acoustic Turkish and other oriental styles with electronic sounds. Dede has worked in collaboration with Turkish and international musicians, such as Susheela Raman, Azam Ali, Dhafer Youssef, Sheema Mukherjee (Transglobal Underground), and Hugh Marsh.
