Mentiras Verdaderas is a Chilean talk show which has gained relevance for its political interviews. From 2015 to 2018, its animator was Ignacio Franzani. Similarly, in 2016, the program had a space dedicated to historiography, history called ''Cultura Verdadera'', in which there were historians like Gabriel Salazar, Igor Goicovic, Sergio Grez, Leonardo León or Esteban Valenzuela Van Treek. María Luisa Cordero Velásquez (born 23 January 1943) is a Chilean people, Chilean psychiatrist, writer, television commentator and politician. Political career In 2012, she defined herself as an anti-communist. In 2013 she was criticized for saying that her vote “is worth 10 times more than [my] maid's”. During the 2021 political campaign she was asked if she had changed her mind on the subject, and she replied that “I still think the same”. Igor Alexis Goicovic Donoso (born 5 November 1960) is a Chilean historian and scholar dedicated to the social history, field which he has territorially deploy in Viña del Mar. He has taught lessons at the University of Chile or the University of Playa Ancha. Biography Goicovic was born in the town of Illapel at the Coquimbo Region. Then he completed his High School at the C-17 Lyceum of Los Vilos, near to La Serena. In 1980, he joined the History Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso where he graduated in 1989 as Professor of History and Geography. While studying, he was a tough activist against Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship. Gabriel Salazar
Gabriel Salazar Vergara (born 31 January 1936) is a far-left Chilean historian. He is known in his country for his study of social history and interpretations of social movements, particularly the recent student protests of 2006 and 2011–12. Salazar was born into a lower class family, he studied history, sociology and philosophy at Universidad de Chile, and for time he was assistant of historian Mario Góngora and classical historian Héctor Herrera Cajas. Salazar used to be a member of the Revolutionary Left Movement until 1973. In that year he was tortured in Villa Grimaldi by the military. Having been released from a military prison camp in 1976 he went into exile in the United Kingdom. There he obtained a scholarship for continued studies in University of Hull.
