Menil Velioski
Menil Velioski (; born 26 April 2001) is a Macedonian folk singer. He became well known in the region of former Yugoslavia after participating in the show "Neki novi klinci", which was aired on the television channels Prva Srpska Televizija and Televizija OBN. "Neki novi klinci" is a TV show in which young singers under the age of 16 compete with each other and the winner receives two songs from the Serbian label Grand Production. Biography Velioski was born in 2001 in Labuništa, a village in the southwestern region of the North Macedonia. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Nova Gorica, Slovenia. Velioski is currently living and attending high school there. Velioski started his musical career at the age of six, after his father bought him a keyboard. In the same interview, he said that his father is also a musician and has been his main inspiration. Labuništa
Labuništa (; ) is a village in the municipality of Struga, North Macedonia. Name Labuništa is an old name dating back to the time of the arrival of Slavic peoples to the Balkans. The origins of the name Labuništa are Greco-Latin from the toponym ''Albanopolis''. Pianka Włodzimierz connects the placename Labuništa with a south-western Balkans settlement of antiquity named Albanopolis, a city marked on an ancient map by Roman geographer Ptolemy. Through metathesis the name ''Albanopolis'' entered Slavic where the suffix ''polis'' meaning city became ''išta'' with dual meanings of either being a patronymic or indicating a place. Šaban Šaulić (; 6 September 1951 – 17 February 2019) was a Serbian and Yugoslav folk singer. Renowned for his refined baritone vocals and performances characterised by emotional intensity and crowd interaction, his career spanning over five decades has enjoyed both critical and commercial success.
