María del Carmen Mendizábal García (born 15 January 1976) is a Spanish journalist and television presenter who has worked for the television channel LaSexta since 2006. She began her career at the national radio station Cadena SER as a journalist and presenter before moving into public television with Televisión Española in October 2004. Mendizábal joined the private television channel LaSexta in 2006 and has read the news and presented various programmes on the channel. She has won an ATV Award for Best Communicator of News Programmes, an Antena de Oro and the TP de Oro Award for Best News Presenter twice in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Concepción Mendizábal Mendoza (March 4, 1893 – November 23, 1985) was a Mexican civil engineer. Mendizábal is recognized the first woman in Mexico to earn a civil engineering degree. She attended the Palacio de Minería starting in 1921 and successfully passed the engineering exam on February 11, 1930. Following her death Early life Mendizábal was born in Mexico City on March 4, 1893. Her father, Joaquín de Mendizábal y Tamborrel, was an engineer and she was inspired by his career. She had a primary education between 1913 and 1917 and then entered a normal school for teachers. She also pursued additional courses in mathematics. Mariano Juaristi Mendizábal (February 21, 1904 – January 12, 2001) was a Spaniard, Spanish Basque pelota player known as Atano III. He is often considered one of the best ''pelotaris'' of all time, dominating the 1st hand-pelota category from 1926 to 1948 and winner of 4 championships (1940, 1942, 1944 and 1946). Guillermo Mendizábal Sánchez (born 8 October 1954) is a Mexican former footballer and manager. Club career He debuted with Cruz Azul in the 1974–75 season, and helped the team win the 1978–79 and 1979-80 league titles. In his professional day view he played as a central defender substituting Alberto Quintano, later on Raúl Cardenás placed him as a central defensive midfielder where he played the rest of his career. While playing for Cruz Azul, Atlético Madrid board of directors became interested in Mendizábal, but could not buy his transfer because Cruz Azul owned the players card. Life Horacio Mendizábal was born to an Afro-Argentine upper-class family in Buenos Aires, the son of Rosendo Mendizábal, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Buenos Aires and one of the earliest black politicians in Argentina.
