Menarandra
Menarandra is a river in the regions of Androy and Atsimo-Andrefana in southern Madagascar. It flows into the Indian Ocean near Bevoalavo Est. Its annual discharge is low, approx. 2–3 L/s/km at Tranoroa where it also crossed the Route nationale 10 (Madagascar), National road 10. Between Tranoroa and its mouth in the Indian Ocean it forms the border between the regions of Androy and Atsimo-Andrefana. References

Androy
Androy is the most southerly region of Madagascar. It covers an area of 19,540 km2, and had a population of 903,376 inhabitants in 2018. The administrative capital is Ambovombe-Androy. Area Androy (literally "the land of ''roy'' (Mimosa delicatula) but more commonly translated as "spiny land") is the deep south of Madagascar. It is located south of the Tropic of Capricorn and conventionally delimited between the Mandrare and Menarandra rivers. It is 19,540 km2 and is bordered by the Mahafaly people to the northwest (Atsimo-Andrefana), the Antanosy to the east (Anosy) and the Bara land to the north (starting at about Isoanala). Atsimo-Andrefana (South West) is a region of Madagascar. It borders Menabe in north, Amoron'i Mania and Haute Matsiatra in northeast, Ihorombe and Anosy in east and Androy in southeast. Anosy
Anosy is one of the 23 regions of Madagascar. It is located in the southeast of the country, on the eastern side of what was once the Toliara Province. The name ''Anosy'' means "island(s)" in Malagasy. Due to a strategic sea route running along its coast, Anosy had been an important crossroads for the Malagasy, Muslims, and Europeans. In the mid-1600s, it was the location of the first French colonial settlement in the Indian Ocean. The region was part of the Imerina Kingdom for much of the 1800s and part of the French colony of Madagascar from the late 1800s to 1960. Tranoroa
Tranoroa is a rural municipality in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Beloha, which is a part of Androy Region. It is situated at the Menarandra River and the National road 10. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 18,000 in 2001. Primary and junior level secondary education are available in town. It is also a site of industrial-scale mining.
