Mena Gurjari
''Mena Gurjari'' () is a 1975 Indian Gujarati film directed by Dinesh Raval. It was produced by Punambhai Patel under banner of Lakshmi Film Laboratory and Studios Pvt. Ltd.. The soundtrack was composed by Dilip Dholakia. Plot The story of the film is based on folklore. Born to Merubha, Mena is brave since childhood. She has been vocal in raising her voice against atrocities on women. She teaches a lesson to Mukhi's lustful son and to the robber who casts a bad eye on the Mukhiya's daughter. She is married to Kunwar Chandaji Thakor (Rajeev) of Gokulgarh. Once Chandaji reach out for help to the sultan in the battle with the enemies. Mena visits sultan's camp with some of her friends to meet Chandaji. There, the sultan's eyes fall on Mena and he gets attracted to her. The king, wounded by Mena's taunts, imprisons her. Mallika Sarabhai
Mallika Sarabhai is an Indian classical dancer, activist and actress from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Daughter of a classical dancer Mrinalini Sarabhai and space scientist Vikram Sarabhai, Mallika is an accomplished Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam dancer and performer who has specialized in using the arts for social change and transformation. Dilraj Kaur (born 21 May 1960), is an Indian playback singer. She is most known for singing in films such as '' Galiyon Ka Badshah'' (2001), '' Me and Mr. Canadian'' (2019) etc. She has sung 286 songs in Hindi films. Career Dilraj Kaur started to play the tabla and taking musical training at the age of seven. Her first movie was in the 1975 film ''Jaan Hazir Hai''. In 1980, she released the song "Gaddi Jaandi e" along with singers Mohammed Rafi, Shailendra Singh and Hemlata composed by Usha Khanna which became a hit. Arvind Pandya (21 March 1923 – 22 July 1980) was an Indian actor. In his career spanning 35 years, he acted in more than one hundred films including 73 Gujarati films. He also worked in Hindi films and Gujarati theatre. Early life Pandya was born on 21 March 1923 in Bhadran. He spent his childhood in Khambhat and Baroda (now Vadodara). Pranlal Kharsani (19 June 1926 – 20 May 2016), better known by his stage name P. Kharsani, was a Gujarati stage, television and film actor. Biography Pranlal Devjibhai Kharsani was born on 19 June 1926 in Bhatwada area near Kalol, Gujarat. He was known for his comic roles but had played other characters also.
