Ralph Murphy (May 1, 1895 – February 10, 1967) was an American film and television director. Born in Rockville, Connecticut, Murphy was active in films from 1931 through 1962, with some work in television. From 1941 to 1944 he was married to Gloria Dickson, whom he directed in ''I Want a Divorce''. Leslie Fenton
Leslie Fenton (12 March 1902 – 25 March 1978) was an English actor and film director. He appeared in more than 60 films between 1923 and 1945. Early life Fenton was born on 12 March 1902 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. He emigrated to America with his mother, Elizabeth Carter Fenton, and his brothers when he was six years old. They sailed as steerage passengers on board the R.M.S. ''Celtic'', which departed from Liverpool, 11 September 1909, and arrived at New York, where they were ferried over to Ellis Island for "U.S. Immigrant Inspection" on 19 September. They were quickly admitted and continued their journey by rail to join his father, shoe manufacturer's representative Richard Fenton, in Mifflin, Ohio. Buddy Roosevelt (born Kenneth Stanhope Sanderson; June 25, 1898 – October 6, 1973) was an American film and television actor and stunt performer from Hollywood's early silent film years through the 1950s. Biography Roosevelt was born as Kenneth Stanhope Sanderson in Meeker in Rio Blanco County in northwestern Colorado. He was an athlete and a cowboy in his youth. Creighton Hale (born Patrick Fitzgerald; May 24, 1882 – August 9, 1965) was an Irish-American theatre, film, and television actor whose career extended more than a half-century, from the early 1900s to the end of the 1950s. Career Born in County Cork, Ireland, Hale was educated in Dublin and London, and later attended Ardingly College in Sussex. He emigrated to America in 1910, with a company headed by Gertrude Elliott. Francis Connolly Shannon (27 July 1874 – 1 February 1959) was an Irish actor and writer. Career A stage actor and silent film pioneer, Shannon made his screen debut in 1913's ''The Artist's Joke''. He later appeared in dozens of films through the mid-1920s, including ''The Prisoner of Zenda'' (1913) and '' Monsieur Beaucaire'' (1924). George Harrington Lloyd (November 5, 1892 – August 15, 1967) was an American vaudevillian and character actor. Born in Edinburg, Illinois, Lloyd appeared in over 270 films between 1932 and 1956. Helen Phyllis Shipman (February 5, 1899 – April 13, 1984) was an American singer, dancer and actress who starred in various Broadway musicals, in musical comedies in vaudeville, and in films. Early life and career Shipman was the daughter of William H. Shipman, a printer, and Annie L. (Mitchell) Shipman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her mother was a stage actress of some note in her youth. Her exact year of birth is unknown. Some estimates indicate 1901, but it is believed that she was born in 1899. She had one sister. Shipman began performing at the age of three doing impressions of famous adult stars in the entertainment business.
