Melvin Jerusalem
Melvin Oliva Jerusalem (born 22 February 1994) is a Filipino professional boxer who has held the WBO mini-flyweight title since January 2023 and challenged for the WBC mini-flyweight title in 2017. Professional career Early career First title challenge Jerusalem, ranked #9 in the WBC strawweight rankings, faced off against champion Wanheng Menayothin on January 25, 2017. Menayothin won by a closely contested unanimous decision. Jerusalem was deducted a point in the eight round for a low blow; the bout would have finished in a majority draw otherwise. After suffering the first loss of his professional career, Jerusalem was scheduled to face Joey Canoy on the undercard of the "Pinoy Pride 41" event on July 8, 2017. Florante Condes, Jr. (born May 20, 1980 in Looc, Romblon, Philippines), is a Filipino retired professional boxer and a former IBF Minimumweight World Champion. Boxing career Condes turned professional in 2002. On July 7, 2007, Condes won the IBF minimumweight title by a split decision victory over Muhammad Rachman. There, he knocked Rachman down twice (once in the 3rd round and again in the 10th). The bout was held in the studio of the private RCTI television station in Jakarta, Indonesia. Cebu Coliseum
The Cebu Coliseum is an indoor arena in Cebu City, Philippines. Its seating capacity is around 5,000. The coliseum hosts various sports events and concerts in Cebu and is the primary venue for CESAFI games. It was also the home of the Cebu Gems of the defunct MBA. On August 4, 1962, one of the first events it hosted was a fight between hometown hero Gabriel "Flash" Elorde and Japanese boxer Terou Kosaka. The IEC Convention Center of Cebu or the IC3 Convention Center (formerly the International Eucharistic Congress Pavilion) is a convention center within the grounds of the 23 Minore Park development along Pope John Paul II Avenue in Barangay Luz, Cebu City, Philippines.
