Melaka Football Association (MAFA; ), also known as the Melaka United Soccer Association, is the governing body of football for the state of Melaka, Malaysia. MAFA is responsible for coordinating and developing football in the state of Melaka and has teamed up with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) as the official governing body of football in Malaysia. History Origins Malacca has sent a football team to play in the Malaya Cup since its inaugural season in 1921.

Piala Emas Raja-Raja
Piala Emas Raja–Raja () is a regional annual football competition held between the states in Malaysia. The competition is managed by the Malaysian Football League. The competition has been held for a long time, and the first known recorded champion was Perak in 1927. History The competition was first held in 1922 during the visit of His Royal Highness the Regent of England (Prince of Wales) to the east including Malaya and Singapore. Various celebrations, including the Malay Football Tournament sponsored by the 'Malaya/Borneo Exhibition' held for two weeks in Singapore. 10 state teams that participated were from Singapore, Johor, Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Terengganu and Kelantan. Persatuan Bola Sepak Melayu Melaka or the Melaka Malay's Football Association, is a football organization established in 2020 in the Malaysian state of Melaka (Malacca). Unlike the Melaka Football Association (MAFA) which manages professional football teams and leagues in the state, PBMM focuses specifically on organizing football activities involving the Malay community in Melaka and operates domestic tournaments football known as the Agong Cup and the Piala Emas Raja-Raja. The Malaysia A2 Amateur League (), previously the Malaysia M4 League, also known as the Al-Ikhsan Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier football league in the Malaysian football league system. The league was created in 2018 as part of the Malaysian Football League's plan to reform the league structure. After a rebranding of the Malaysian Football League (MFL) in March 2018, the company announced a reform of lower league competitions in Malaysia.
