Mehrdad Asemani
Mehrdad Akhavan (), better known by his stage name Mehrdad Asemani (), was born on July 16, 1967, in Tehran, Iran. He is an Iranian singer, composer, and musician currently living in Los Angeles. Early life and career Akhavan was born in Tehran and spent his childhood in Hafez Street (Sanglej). He went to Hadaf Junior High and graduated from Hadaf High School. Despite being accepted to university, he enlisted for military service and served for 27 months in the Iran-Iraq War. While attending school, he learned music and singing techniques from masters in these fields in Iran. When he realized he could not freely pursue his singing career in Iran, he left Iran in 1992 for Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, Akhavan released his first album, ''Voice of Sun'', becoming famous in the Persian community worldwide. Susan Roshan
Susan Roshan () (born 23 September 1967) is an Iranian singer, who currently lives in California, United States. After the Iranian Revolution, she moved to the United States with her parents and brother at twelve. She had a child in March 2025 at the age of 57. Life Susan Roshan was born on 23 September 1967 in Tehran. Her parents, Manouchehr Roshan and Fereshteh Roshan, were both from Hamadan. At the age of 10, in 1977, Susan migrated with her family to the United States. Her brother, Peiman Roshan, was her primary supporter in pursuing a singing career. Andranik Madadian (, ; born April 22, 1958), better known by his stage name Andy, is an Armenian-Iranian singer-songwriter and actor. He immigrated to the United States and currently lives in Los Angeles. He sings in several languages including Persian, Armenian and English. Career Duo in Andy and Kouros Andy first gained recognition when he joined Kouros Shahmiri and they formed the successful duo Andy & Kouros, going on to release 4 albums together: ''Khastegary'' (1985), ''Parvaz'' (1987), the hugely successful album ''Balla'' (1990), and ''Goodbye'' (1991). Babak Bayat
Babak Bayat (,13 June 1946 – 26 November 2006) was an Iranian songwriter and film score composer. He was repeatedly nominated for the Crystal Simorgh award in the field of soundtrack at the Fajr Film Festival and received this award twice in 1991 and 1997. Biography Ali Hossein Bayat Zarandi, known as Babak Bayat, was born on 13 June 1946, in Tehran. His father wanted him to become an athlete and go to an officer's college and start a military life, but he chose music. Bayat entered the Higher Conservatory of Music.
