Mehmet Yağmur
Mehmet Yağmur (born 1 July 1987) is a Turkish professional basketball player for Manisa Basket of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He plays at the point guard position. Professional career Yagmur averaged 6.7 points, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game for Sigortam.net İTÜ Basket during the 2019-20 season. He signed with Besiktas on 25 September 2020. On 19 September 2022 he signed with Türk Telekom of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). On August 24, 2024, he signed with Manisa Basket of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League (; TBSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1967) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the Turkish Basketball First League, second-tier and Turkish Basketball Second League, third-tier divisions. The BSL is administered by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams promotion and relegation, relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. The 2016–17 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 17th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the seventh under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time.
