Meghan Fardelmann
Meghan Fardelmann (born 7 June 1987) is an American retired professional ice hockey forward. She played in the inaugural season of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) with the New York Riveters. Playing career Fardelmann started playing ice hockey at the age of four. She played for an all-girls team in a boys league as a ten year old. She played four seasons of ice hockey at Culver Academy during high school. College Fardelmann played her college ice hockey career with the Boston College Eagles women's ice hockey program during 2005 to 2009. She scored 99 points in 137 games and helped the Eagles to the 2007 Frozen Four, the first time the Eagles had qualified for the national tournament. Buffalo Beauts
The Buffalo Beauts were a professional ice hockey team in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). They played in Amherst, New York, a suburb of Buffalo, at the Northtown Center. The Beauts were established in 2015 as one of the four founding franchises of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), rebranded as the PHF in 2021. The team played at Harborcenter in downtown Buffalo during their first four seasons. The team advanced to the Isobel Cup Finals in the PHF's first four seasons, winning the championship title in 2016–17. 4 Nations Cup
The 4 Nations Cup is an annual women's ice hockey tournament, held between four major national teams in the sport; currently, these are Canada, the United States, Sweden and Finland. Until 2000, when Sweden joined, the tournament was the 3 Nations Cup. In general, it is held in or around November each year. History The 3 Nations Cup was first held in 1996. Sweden joined the tourney in 2000, but the USA did not attend the 2001 event due to the September 11 attacks; the 4 Nations roster has been constant since 2002. The format of the tournament is a single round-robin, with each team playing one game against each of the others. The top two teams advance to the gold-medal game. The last two teams play for bronze.
