Megaton Dias
Wellington Leal Dias Santos (born October 2, 1967), widely known as Megaton Dias, is a prominent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) practitioner and instructor. He holds a 7th-degree coral belt under the Gracie Humaitá lineage, led by Royler Gracie, and is recognized as one of the most enduring competitors in the sport's history. Dias began his training in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, initially under Rogerio Camoes before joining the renowned Gracie Humaitá school, where he studied under Royler Gracie, Rickson Gracie, and Helio Gracie. He earned his BJJ black belt at the remarkably young age of 18 and later achieved the prestigious coral belt rank, a testament to his decades of dedication. Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact fighting sport based on striking and grappling; incorporating techniques from various combat sports from around the world. In the early 20th century, various inter-stylistic contests took place throughout Japan and the countries of East Asia.
