Megan Hine
Megan Hine is a British survival consultant, adventurer, television presenter and writer. She is known for her work alongside Bear Grylls on ''Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, Mission Survive'' (2015, 2016), ''Car Vs Wild'' (2013) and ''Bear Grylls: Breaking Point'' (2015). She has also worked on a number of other television shows. She is an expedition guide and one of Bear Grylls' survival consultants. Adventurer
An adventure is an exciting experience or undertaking that is typically bold, sometimes risky. Adventures may be activities with danger such as traveling, exploring, skydiving, mountain climbing, scuba diving, river rafting, or other extreme sports. Adventures are often undertaken to create psychological arousal or in order to achieve a greater goal, such as the pursuit of knowledge that can only be obtained by such activities. Motivation Adventurous experiences create psychological arousal, which can be interpreted as negative (e.g. fear) or positive (e.g. flow). For some people, adventure becomes a major pursuit in and of itself. A television presenter (or television host, some become a "television personality") is a person who introduces or hosts television show, television programs, often serving as a mediator for the program and the audience. It is common for people who garnered fame in other fields to take on this role, but some people have made their name solely within the field of presenting—such as children's television series or infomercials—to become television personalities. Bear Grylls
Edward Michael "Bear" Grylls (; born 7 June 1974) is a British adventurer, writer, television presenter and former Special Air Service, SAS trooper who is also a survival expert. He first drew attention after embarking on a number of notable adventures, including several world records in hostile environments, and then became widely known for his television series ''Man vs. Wild'' (2006–2011). He is also involved in a number of wilderness survival television series in the UK and US, such as ''Running Wild with Bear Grylls'' and ''The Island with Bear Grylls''. Survivalists
Survivalism is a social movement of individuals or groups (called survivalists, doomsday preppers or preppers) who proactively prepare for emergencies, such as natural disasters, and other disasters causing disruption to social order (that is, civil disorder) caused by political or economic crises. Preparations may anticipate short-term scenarios or long-term, on scales ranging from personal adversity, to local disruption of services, to international or global catastrophe.
