Megan Farrell
Megan Farrell (born 26 February 1992) is a Canadian Snowboarding, snowboarder who competes internationally in the alpine snowboard discipline. Career Farrell has competed at three FIS Snowboard World Championships, Senior World Championships in 2017, 2019 and 2021. Farrell's best performances came in 2021. In the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2021 – Women's parallel slalom, slalom event, Farrell finished fourth (the best-ever performance by a Canadian), and in the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2021 – Women's parallel giant slalom, giant slalom event, eighth (tied for the best Canadian performance ever). In January 2022, Farrell was named to Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics, Canada's 2022 Olympic team in the parallel giant slalom event. Bracebridge is a town and the seat of the District Municipality of Muskoka in Ontario, Canada. The town was built around a waterfall on the Muskoka River in the centre of town and is known for its other nearby waterfalls (Wilson's Falls, High Falls, etc.). It was first incorporated in 1875.
