Megan Duffy
Megan Duffy (born July 13, 1984) is an American women's basketball coach, currently the head coach at Virginia Tech. Previously, she had been the head coach with Marquette, before that the Miami RedHawks women's basketball team, an associate head coach with the Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team, George Washington Colonials women's basketball team, an assistant coach with St. John's Red Storm women's basketball team, and a professional basketball player in the WNBA, most recently playing for the New York Liberty. College playing career Duffy was born in Kettering, Ohio. After graduating from Chaminade-Julienne High School, a Catholic high school in Dayton, she attended college at University of Notre Dame and graduated in 2006 with a double major in Psychology and Computer Applications. Amber Jacobs
Amber Jacobs (born June 29, 1982) is a former professional basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), for the Los Angeles Sparks. She then became the assistant athletic director for Clarks Summit University and their head women's basketball coach. Prior to that, Jacobs was an assistant coach at the University of Rhode Island women's basketball team under her former head coach at Boston College Cathy Inglese. After attending Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, Jacobs attended college at Boston College and graduated in 2004. Following her collegiate career, she was selected as the 33rd overall pick in the 2004 WNBA draft. Primarily as reserve in her first two seasons, Jacobs averaged 3.4 points and 1.8 assists per game. 2006 WNBA Draft
On April 5, 2006, the WNBA Draft took place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The draft was held in conjunction with the 2006 NCAA women's basketball tournament, which had its championship game the night before at the TD Banknorth Garden, now known as TD Garden, in Boston. Niele Deirdre Jamillah Viveca Ivey (born September 24, 1977) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team. She is a former Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) player for the Indiana Fever, Detroit Shock, and Phoenix Mercury. Prior to her move to the NBA in August 2019, she was an assistant coach for the University of Notre Dame women's basketball team, where she played in college. She was an All-American point guard and became the 17th player in school history to record over 1,000 career points. The organization was formed in 1981, with the goal of addressing the needs of women's basketball coaches. Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is a private, co-educational, center-city, Catholic high school.
