Nikolai Nikolayevich Kuzmin (russian: Николай Николаевич Кузьмин; 3 April 1883 – 8 February 1938) was a Soviet political and military leader. He was the political commissar of the Baltic Fleet during the time of the Russian Civil War. Born in Saint Petersburg, Kuzmin graduated from St Petersburg University and joined the Bolshevik faction of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party in 1903. He participated in the 1905 revolution. In 1917 he was a member of the military organisation of the Central Committee of the Bolshevik Party. He was also editor of two newspapers Soldatskaya Pravda («Солдатская правда») and Derevenskaya Bednota («Деревенская беднота»). Sergei Sergeyevich Plotnikov (russian: Сергей Сергеевич Плотников; born 3 June 1990) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward for HC CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Plotnikov previously played in the KHL with Amur Khabarovsk, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and SKA Saint Petersburg. Vadim Mikhailovich Kozhevnikov (russian: Вадим Михайлович Кожевников; , Togur20 October 1984, Moscow) was a Soviet writer and journalist. His daughter Nadezhda Kozhevnikova is also a writer. Biography Vadim Kozevnikov was born to a Russian family in the Siberian town of Togur, Tomsk Governorate, where his revolutionary-minded father, a physician, had been sent as an internal exile by the authorities of the Russian Empire. Kozhevnikov studied literature and ethnology at Moscow State University, graduating in 1933. Kozhevnikov worked as a war correspondent for '' Pravda'' from 1941 to 1945, joining the Communist Party of the Soviet Union halfway into the German-Soviet War in 1943. He was elected secretary of the Union of Soviet Writers in 1949.
