Meesha Madhavan
''Meesha Madhavan'' () is a 2002 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film directed by Lal Jose and written by Ranjan Pramod. The film stars Dileep in the title role, while Indrajith Sukumaran, Kavya Madhavan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Harisree Asokan and Cochin Haneefa play supporting roles. It was the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year. Meesa Madhavan raised Dileep's superstardom to a whole new level and developed a cult following in Malayalam cinema. Lal Jose is an Indian director, actor, producer, and distributor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He started his career as an Assistant director in the Malayalam cinema. His directorial debut was with the 1998 film '' Oru Maravathoor Kanavu''. Lal Jose started his film career as an assistant director to Kamal. Lal Jose worked on a slew of Kamal's films during the 1990s. Vishu (Malayalam: വിഷു) is a Hindu festival celebrating the Malayali New Year in Kerala, Tulu Nadu, and Mahe of India. Vishu falls on the first day of the month of ''Medam'', the first month of the Solar calendar used in Malabar of Kerala, (April 14 or 15 in the Gregorian calendar), signifying the solar new year as the sun moves into the zodiac sign of Aries. Vidharth (born Venkatasubramanian) is an Indian actor appearing in Tamil films. He started his career in 2001 doing uncredited roles. ''Kollaikaran'' () is a 2012 Tamil-language film directed by Tamil Selvan. The film stars Vidharth, Sanchita Shetty, and P. Ravi Shankar. The music was composed by Johan Shevanesh with editing by LVK Doss. The film was released on 13 January 2012. It is a remake of Malayalam film '' Meesa Madhavan''. Plot Kuruvi (Vidharth) is a man who commits small crimes. He falls in love with a girl named Krishnaveni ( Sanchita Shetty) who, on finding him to be a criminal, rejects his proposal. Kuruvi's elder sister marries Krishnaveni's relative, and they become close again. Kuruvi is falsely accused of stealing the temple's jewels. He eventually kills the jewel thief and goes to jail.
