They were one of the first companies developing games for the PlayStation and enjoyed a close relationship with Japan Studio in their early years. Wild Arms
, stylized as ''Wild ARMs'', is a media franchise developed by Media.Vision and owned by Sony Computer Entertainment. The franchise consists of several role-playing video games and related media. Since the launch of the original ''Wild Arms'' title in 1996, the series has gone on to encompass several media, including toys, manga, mobile phone applications, and a 22-episode anime. The series has largely been overseen by producer Akifumi Kaneko. It saw regular releases throughout the late 1990s and 2000s. Following its last major entry, '' Wild Arms XF'', in 2007, it became dormant save for a crossover mobile game, ''Wild Arms: Million Memories'', released a decade later. Crime Crackers
is a 1994 action role-playing first-person shooter video game developed by Media.Vision and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation. Based on a science fiction manga set after an intergalactic war, the story follows of group of bounty hunters aboard the spacecraft Pink Dolphin as they take on jobs requested by the Galactic Federation police. Gameplay resembles dungeon crawlers, largely consisting of exploring complex 3D corridors, collecting items, and shooting enemies. The player is able to freely rotate between three unique characters within missions, while points earned afterwards can be used to purchase consumable items and upgraded equipment. The game was released in Japan in 1996, in North America in 1997, and in Europe in 1998. It utilizes 2D computer graphics for navigating the world and setting, while battle sequences are rendered in 3D. ''Wild Arms'' takes place in the world of Filgaia, a setting which blends both fantasy and Western genres. commonly referred to as ''Valkyria Chronicles III'' outside Japan, is a tactical role-playing video game co-developed by Sega and Media.Vision for the PlayStation Portable. Released in January 2011 in Japan, it is the third game in the ''Valkyria Chronicles'' series. Employing the same fusion of tactical and real-time gameplay as its predecessors, the story runs parallel to the first game and follows the "Nameless", a penal military unit serving the nation of Gallia during the Second Europan War that performs black ops. ''Chaos Rings'' is a role-playing video game series released primarily on mobile platforms. It is developed by Media.Vision and published by Square Enix. The Chaos Rings (video game), eponymous first game in the series was released for iOS in 2010, then later ported to other mobile and portable platforms including Android (operating system), Android and PlayStation Vita. There are currently four games in the ''Chaos Rings'' series, and each uses the same gameplay base. Effective May 31, 2016, Square Enix ended distribution of the first three games in the series on Google Play and Apple's App Store, leaving ''Chaos Rings III'' as the only title still available for download or purchase on those markets. It was released in both Japan and Europe in 1995. The game was re-released on the PlayStation Network in Japan in 2007 and in Asia in 2010. Gameplay The gameplay of ''Rapid Reload'' is often compared to the Treasure game '' Gunstar Heroes''. The players choose to play as either male character Axel or female character Ruka through the game's six levels. The player can switch between four different weapons with a normal machine pistol, flamethrower, homing laser, and multi-directional cannons. The characters each have their own set of four weapons, totaling the weapons in the game to eight. Also available is a grappling hook that will latch onto any wall or ceiling.
