	Mecodema ''Mecodema'' is a genus of large flightless ground beetle (Carabidae) endemic to New Zealand. The genus is very diverse in comparison to the other three New Zealand genera ('' Diglymma'', '' Oregus'', '' Orthoglymma'') within the subtribe Nothobroscina (tribe Broscini).
