Darlene Mealy (born August 31, 1964) is an American politician who is a member of the New York City Council from the 41st district, which includes Brownsville, Bushwick, Crown Heights, East Flatbush and Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn. A Democrat, Mealy previously held the same seat from 2006 to 2017. In 2021, she defeated incumbent Alicka Ampry-Samuel in the Democratic primary in a major upset. Life and career Mealy was born in Detroit, Michigan, and attended public schools, graduating from George Wingate High School. Dean R. Mealy (May 7, 1915 – April 28, 1973) was an American professional basketball player. He played for the Akron Goodyear Wingfoots and Oshkosh All-Stars in the National Basketball League (NBL) between 1937 and 1940. Robert Mealy is a performer and teacher of baroque violin. He holds a joint position at the Yale School of Music and the Department of Music of Yale University, where he directs the Yale Collegium Musicum and teaches classes in musical rhetoric and historically-informed performance. He has recorded over 50 CDs of early music, ranging from Hildegard of Bingen with Sequentia, to Renaissance consorts with the Boston Camerata, to Rameau operas with Les Arts Florissants. At home in New York, he is a frequent leader and soloist with the New York Collegium, Early Music New York, the Clarion Music Society, and the ARTEK early music ensemble. Pangaré is a coat Phenotypic_trait, trait found in some horses that features pale hair around the eyes, muzzle, and underside of the body. These pale areas can extend up to the flanks, throat and chest, behind the elbows, in front of the Stifle joint, stifle, and up the buttock.
