Meadowlark (band)
Meadowlark are a British indie pop duo composed of Kate McGill and Daniel Broadley. Career Meadowlark were initially a trio made up of McGill, Broadley, and Carl Jones. McGill, who had until that point been known for her covers of popular songs, which she posted on her YouTube channel, announced the formation of the band on 22 March 2013. On the same day, they released a live version of a track titled "Family Tree", which focuses on Kate's home life. Meadowlark released their first EP, ''Three Six Five'', on 26 May 2014. In September of that year, it was announced on social media that Carl Jones would no longer be part of the band, signifying a fresh start. Kate and Daniel released their first EP as a duo, named ''Dual'', on 30 March 2015. Plymouth
Plymouth () is a port city and unitary authority in South West England. It is located on the south coast of Devon, approximately south-west of Exeter and south-west of London. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free. Kate McGill
Kate Laura McGill (born 10 March 1990) is a Welsh singer-songwriter originally known for her covers of hit songs by artists such as Adele, Paramore, Mumford & Sons, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, the Killers, and Maroon 5. In 2011, she released her debut album, ''Replaced''. In 2013, she formed the band Meadowlark together with Daniel Broadley and Carl Jones. They have since released one studio album and a number of EPs. James Page, known professionally as Sivu (pronounced see-voo), is an English singer and songwriter. He has released two studio albums, '' Something on High'' (2014) and ''Sweet Sweet Silent'' (2017). Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
