Me Wage Adarayak
''Me Wage Adarayak (A Love Like This)'' (''මේ වගේ ආදරයක්'') is a 2015 Sri Lankan Sinhala romantic film directed and produced by Chandran Rutnam for Taprobane Films. It stars Dinakshie Priyasad and Anuj Ranasinghe in lead roles along with Heshan Don and Kuma Aththanayake. Music composed by Chitral Somapala. The movie has elements that closely mirror the Hollywood movie Love Story(1970) which is in turn based on the book by Erich Segal of the same name. It is the 1231st Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. Plot 25 year-old Roshan is an instructor in a leading aviation company. He comes from a high class family and his father is an influential politician. Roshan falls in love with Serina who is an engineering student in the same company. Chandran Rutnam
Chandran Rutnam is a Sri Lankan filmmaker and entrepreneur. Rutnam has hosted numerous Hollywood films for their location shoots in Sri Lanka and Malaysia. He was the Line Producer/Production Supervisor on several international productions including the Sri Lankan location shoot of Paramount Pictures' ''Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'' (1984) and '' Indochine'' (1992). He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Film Location Services which mostly hosts foreign films to be shot in South and South East Asia. Steven Spielberg once referred to Rutnam as "Our most valued friend in the Far East". Rutnam has also worked with Sir David Lean, Sir Carol Reed, John Boorman, George Lucas and Regis Wargnier. Dinakshie Priyasad
Baminnahennadige Dinakshie Priyasad (born 18 March 1990) ( Sinhala: දිනක්ෂි ප්රියසාද්) is a Sri Lankan actress and television presenter. Priyasad made her acting debut at the age of two in the film ''Apaye Thathpara 84,000'' directed by her father Dinesh Priyasad. Early life Dinakshie Priyasad was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 18 March 1990. She is the first of three daughters for Dinesh Priyasad and Shirani Priyasad. She and her family members are devout Catholics. Her father Dinesh is a film director, who pioneered various technologies and graphics for Sri Lankan cinema. Chandana Chitral Somapala (born 4 November 1966: ), aka Chity Somapala, is a Sri Lankan hard rock and heavy metal vocalist and a music director. He is known for his work with European power metal bands Firewind, Power Quest, Avalon, Faro, Red Circuit, and Civilization One. Somapala gained popularity in his home country due to his Sinhala track "Nadee Ganga" which was released in 1998. Sri Lankan cinema encompasses the Sri Lankan film industry. It is a fledgling industry that has struggled to find a footing since its inauguration in 1947 with '' Kadawunu Poronduwa'' produced by S. M. Nayagam of Chitra Kala Movietone. Sri Lankan films are usually made in Sinhala and Tamil, the dominant languages of the country. During the first decade, most films were made in neighboring Southern India and closely followed the conventions of Indian cinema. Studio shooting was the norm, with Indian style sets erected in film studios.
