Md. Emdadul Haque Azad is a retired judge of the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court. Early life Azad was born on 16 October 1956. He completed his law degree from the University of Rajshahi. Career Azad started working in the district court of Rajshahi on 11 March 1985. Azad became a lawyer in the High Court Division on 13 April 1987. On 27 February 2001, Azad was appointed a lawyer of the Appellate Division. Azad was appointed an additional judge of the High Court Division on 23 August 2004 and was made permanent judge on 23 August 2006. Azad and Justice Sharif Uddin Chaklader stopped a scam case against Ali Asgar Lobi, former Bangladesh Nationalist Party member of parliament from Khulna-2, in July 2008. Rapid Action Battalion
Rapid Action Battalion (; abbreviated as RAB) is an anti-crime and anti-terrorism unit of the Bangladesh Police. This elite force consists of members of the Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Police, Border Guard Bangladesh and Bangladesh Ansar. It was formed on 26 March 2004 as Rapid Action Team (RAT), and commenced operations on 14 April 2004. Sahara Khatun (1 March 1943 – 9 July 2020) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a cabinet minister. She was the incumbent Jatiyo Sangsad member representing the Dhaka-18 constituency, and was the presidium member of the party. Early life Khatun was born in Kurmitola in Dhaka on 1 March 1943 to Abdul Aziz and Turjan Nesa. She completed BA and LLB degrees. Sadeque Hossain Khoka (12 May 1952 – 4 November 2019) was a Bangladeshi politician. He served as the 2nd mayor of Dhaka City Corporation during 2002 to 2011. He was the vice chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and was President of undivided Dhaka city BNP for longest period of the organisation's existence. Early life and career Khoka attended Dhaka University and completed M.A. in psychology. In 1971 at the age of 19 he fought in the Bangladesh Liberation War.
