John Alexander "Bid" McPhee (November 1, 1859 – January 3, 1943) was an American 19th-century Major League Baseball second baseman. He played 18 seasons in the majors, from until , all for the Cincinnati Reds franchise. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in . Gloria Juanita McPhee OBE (née Darrell; 10 November 1926 – 18 February 2007) was a Bermudian politician who served as a member of the House of Assembly from 1968 to 1980, representing the United Bermuda Party (UBP). George Washington McPhee
George Washington McPhee, (November 17, 1880 – November 23, 1971) was a lawyer, judge and political figure in Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan. He represented 2nd Queens in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in 1911 and Yorkton in the House of Commons of Canada from 1925 to 1940 as a Liberal. He was born in St. Catherines, Lot 65, Prince Edward Island, the son of Annie Rogerson (née McPhee), and was educated at Prince of Wales College. George McPhee (born July 2, 1958) is a Canadian ice hockey executive and former player who is the president of hockey operations for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). McPhee served as the general manager of the Washington Capitals and has also served as alternate governor, vice president and special assistant to the general manager of the New York Islanders. Frank Melvin McPhee (March 19, 1931 – March 31, 2011) was an American professional football player who played one season with the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Cardinals in the thirteenth round of the 1953 NFL draft after playing college football at Princeton University. He was a consensus All-American in 1952. Frank McPhee (21 October 1948 – 10 May 2000) was a long-time Greater Glasgow-based crime boss. Early life McPhee was born in Lennoxtown, Glasgow on October 21, 1948. His mother came from an Irish Traveller family, but adopted a settled life more typical of "Buffers", or non-Travellers, as her family started to grow. McPhee and his five sisters knew how to speak Shelta, but he was also embarrassed when his mother spoke it in front of his friends. His parents briefly moved the family to Edinburgh, before relocating to Maryhill, Glasgow, where McPhee lived for the rest of his life.
