Charles McKee (born March 14, 1962) is an American sailing (sport), sailor and Olympic medalist. He won the ICSA Match Racing National Championship in 1985 with the University of Washington. He competed in the 470 (dinghy), 470 class at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul and received a bronze medal. He competed in the 49er (dinghy), 49er class at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney together with his brother Jonathan McKee, and they won the bronze medal. McKee and his brother sailed for ''OneWorld'' in the 2003 Louis Vuitton Cup and for Luna Rossa Challenge in the 2007 Louis Vuitton Cup. Hugh Wilson McKee (April 23, 1844 – June 11, 1871) was an American United States Navy, naval officer in the 1870s who participated in the United States expedition to Korea in 1871. Early life and military service McKee was born in Lexington, Kentucky to a military family. His father, William R. McKee, was a US Army colonel who had been killed in action commanding the Second Kentucky Regiment in the Battle of Buena Vista during the Mexican–American War. Frances McKee (born 1966) is a Scottish singer and songwriter known best for her work in the Scotland, Scottish indie (music), indie band The Vaselines. Background McKee's involvement with music began as a teenager in the early 1980s when she met Duglas T. Stewart from Bellshill. With McKee and his friends Norman Blake (Scottish musician), Norman Blake and Sean Dickson (musician), Sean Dickson, Stewart formed a group, known by various outrageous names before settling on The Pretty Flowers. The group would play impromptu, happening-style gigs in the local park and at Bellshill's Hattonrigg Hotel. Richard "Dick" McKee (; 4 April 1893 – 21 November 1920) was a prominent member of the Irish Republican Army (IRA). He was also friend to some senior members in the republican movement, including Éamon de Valera, Austin Stack and Michael Collins. For his contribution as a children's illustrator, he was UK nominee for the biennial international Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2006.
