Maïder Laval
Maïder Laval (born 18 May 1970) is a former professional tennis player from France. Biography An under-18s national champion, Laval competed in the women's singles main draw of every French Open from 1987 to 1991. In the first two years she also played in the juniors and was a girls' doubles finalist at the 1988 French Open, partnering Julie Halard. Laval, who also featured twice at the Australian Open, represented the France Federation Cup team in 1988, for a World Group tie against West Germany. She made her only appearance in the doubles rubber, with Catherine Suire, which they lost in three sets to Isabel Cueto and Eva Pfaff. During her time on the professional tour she reached a best singles ranking on tour of 139 in the world. Steffi Graf defeated Chris Evert in the final, 6–1, 7–6(7–3) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 1988 Australian Open. Raffaella Reggi
Raffaella Reggi (; born 27 November 1965) is an Italian TV pundit and former professional tennis player. Career As a junior, Reggi won the Orange Bowl 16 and under in 1981. She was a member of the Continental Players Cup Team in 1982. Reggi won the mixed doubles title at the US Open in 1986, partnering Sergio Casal. She was a singles quarter-finalist at the French Open in 1987, and reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 13 in 1988. One of the highlights of her career was winning the Italian Open in 1985. In 1985 she became the first Italian woman to win the Italian Open since Annelies Ullstein-Bossi won in 1950. Ullstein-Bossi, Reggi, the 2014 finalist Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in 2025 are the only Italian women to reach the singles final of Italy's top tennis tournament since World War II. Dally Randriantefy (born 23 February 1977) is a former professional Malagasy female tennis player and coached by Diego Licciardello a former Italian tennis player. In her career, Randriantefy won seven singles titles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 11 April 2005, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 44. On 6 May 2002, she peaked at No. 193 in the doubles rankings. Her best results have been two semifinal appearances at the WTA Strasbourg tournament and the WTA Acapulco (both Tier III). Biography Early years Toleafoa was born in Auckland and is of Samoan heritage, with her father Afamasaga Fa'amatala coming from Fasito'o Tai on the island of Upolu.
