Mayfied GAA Club (CLG Baile na mBocht) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the Mayfield area of Cork City, Ireland. Teams are fielded in Gaelic football, hurling, and Ladies' Football. The club participates in Cork GAA competitions and in Seandún board competitions. The club competes at Intermediate level in football and in hurling. In 2016/17, Mayfield were crowned Cork City (Seandún), Cork County, Munster and All-Ireland Junior Hurling Champions. Crumlin GAA
Crumlin GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Crumlin, Dublin, Ireland. Origins of the game in Crumlin As far back as the 1740s Hurling was to be seen in Crumlin. The village was bordered by an area of "Common Land". The most important game recorded at Crumlin Common was in 1748, between hurlers representing Leinster and Munster, a game which Leinster won by a late goal. Club history Crumlin Independents were set up in the early 1900s and lasted until 1935. St. Agnes’s Football Club was set up in 1932, to be followed by St. Columba’s Hurling Club in 1945. These two clubs catered for their respective games until the end of 1969, when they amalgamated to form Crumlin Hurling and Football Club. The City Junior A Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the EBO Home Rescue City Junior A Football Championship) is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Seandún Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1926 for junior Gaelic football teams in Cork, Ireland. The series of games begin in May, with the championship culminating with the final in the autumn. The championship has always been run as a knock-out competition with no second chance for beaten teams. The City Junior Championship is an integral part of the wider Cork Junior Football Championship. 16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA. The All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship is an annual inter-county club hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) since 2002-03 for eligible hurling clubs. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their county club championships. The final, usually held in early February, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during the winter months, and the results determine which county's team receives the cup.
