Jay Waverly North Jr. (August 3, 1951 – April 6, 2025) was an American actor. His career as a child actor began in the late 1950s, and he went on to appear in eight TV series, two variety shows and three feature films. At age 7, he became a household name for his role as the good-natured but mischievous Dennis Mitchell on the CBS situation comedy '' Dennis the Menace'' (1959–1963), based on the comic strip created by Hank Ketcham. As a teen, North had roles in two Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer feature films: '' Zebra in the Kitchen'' and ''Maya''. He also starred in the NBC television series adaptation of the latter film. Lee Erwin (September 12, 1906, in Ada, Oklahoma - June 4, 1972 in Los Angeles, California) was a television writer from the 1950s to the 1970s. Erwin wrote for '' Mr. & Mrs. North'', '' The Millionaire'', '' Have Gun, Will Travel'', '' The New Adventures of Charlie Chan'' and many other 1950s and 1960s TV shows. He is probably best known for his ''Star Trek'' episode " Whom Gods Destroy", and his two-part ''Tarzan'' episode "The Deadly Silence". His episode of ''The Lieutenant'', " To Set It Right", was controversial behind the scenes because the subject matter, racial prejudice, was taboo for entertainment television at the time. Despite claims that it never aired, Gene Roddenberry said it did, and the segment was reviewed by ''Daily Variety''. Iftekhar Ahmed Sharif (22 February 1920 – 4 March 1995), often mononymously credited as Iftekhar or Iftikhar, was an Indian actor who mainly worked in Hindi cinema. He is known for his film roles as a police officer. Career Iftekhar was born in Jalandhar and was the eldest among four brothers and a sister. After completing his matriculation, Iftekhar did a diploma course in painting from Lucknow College Of Arts. Iftekhar had a passion for singing and was impressed with the famous singer Kundanlal Sehgal. In his 20s, Iftekhar travelled to Calcutta for an audition conducted by the music composer Kamal Dasgupta, who was then serving for His Master's Voice.
