Maximilian Le Cain
Maximilian Le Cain (born 1978) is an Irish filmmaker, cinephile and film critic living in Cork City, Ireland. His always-personal, formally experimental work has included narrative, documentary, and video art installation, although it mostly wanders restlessly somewhere between those categories. Le Cain has made more than sixty short and medium-length films and videos over the past decade. Cork City
Cork ( , from , meaning 'marsh') is the second largest city in Ireland and third largest city by population on the island of Ireland. It is located in the south-west of Ireland, in the province of Munster. Following an extension to the city's boundary in 2019, its population is over 222,000. Rouzbeh Rashidi ( fa, روزبه رشیدی; born 23 December 1980, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian-Irish avant-garde filmmaker and founder of Experimental Film Society. Since 2000, Rashidi produced experimental feature films and numerous volumes of instalments for the Homo Sapiens Project. His films have been associated with the Remodernist Film Movement. Karen Power
Karen Power (born 1977) is a composer whose work spans compositions for orchestras, to sound installations. Power has been known to incorporate everyday sounds into her works. Power received a Ph.D. in acoustic and electroacoustic composition with Michael Alcorn at Queen's University Belfast in 2009. In 2013 her first CD was released. Power has created works for RTÉ, ConTempo Quartet, Sonar Quartet and Ultrasound Berlin. Her compositions have been performed by the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Modern and Quiet Music Ensemble. She is involved in Irish group Sounding the Feminists.
