Maxime Plennevaux
Maxime Georges Alexandre Plennevaux (born 14 June 1993) is a Belgian field hockey player who plays as a forward for Orée. Club career Plennevaux started playing hockey at Waterloo Ducks who he left for Royal Léopold when he was 17 years old. He left Léopold in 2017 for Real Club de Polo in the Spanish División de Honor. In the 2018–19 season he played for HGC in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. In 2019 he returned to Léopold. After three seasons at Léopold he left them for another Brussels club Royal Orée. International career In 2013, Plennevaux was a member of the Belgium under-21 side at the FIH Junior World Cup in New Delhi, India. He followed this up with an appearance in 2014 at the EuroHockey Junior Championship in Waterloo, Belgium. He debuted for the Red Lions in 2014 in a test match against the Netherlands in Uccle. International Hockey Federation
The Fédération Internationale de Hockey (English: International Hockey Federation), commonly known by the acronym FIH, is the international governing body of field hockey and indoor field hockey. 2013 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup
The 2013 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup was the 10th edition of the Hockey Junior World Cup for men, an international field hockey tournament. It was held between 6–15 December 2013 in New Delhi, India. Germany won the tournament for the sixth time after defeating France 5–2 in the final, who participated in their first ever final in a top international event. The Netherlands won the third place match by defeating Malaysia 7–2. Men's FIH Pro League
The Men's FIH Pro League is an international men's field hockey competition organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), which replaces the Men's FIH Hockey World League. The competition also serves as a qualifier for the Hockey World Cup and the Olympic Games. The first edition started in 2019. Nine teams secured their places for four years. Format Nine men's and women's teams compete in a round-robin tournament with home and away matches, played from October to June, with the top team at the end of the season winning the league. From 2021-22 onwards, the bottom team at the end of the season will be relegated and will be replaced by the winner of a new competition called the Men's FIH Nations Cup. 2019 Men's FIH Pro League
The 2019 Men's FIH Pro League was the first season of the Pro League, the premier men's field hockey national team league series. The tournament started in January 2019 and finished in June 2019 in Amstelveen, Netherlands. Australia defeated Belgium 3–2 in the final to win the first FIH Pro League title. The competition also served as a qualifier for the 2020 Summer Olympics with the four best teams qualifying for the FIH Olympic Qualifiers taking place in October and November 2019. Uccle () or Ukkel () is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch).
