Max Sorensen
Max Christian Sorensen (born 18 November 1985) is an Irish former international cricketer of South African origin, who played for the Irish national team. Born in Johannesburg, Sorensen is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He has played for The Hills Cricket Club in Dublin since 2007. In July 2017, he announced his retirement from international cricket. International career Sorensen was called up to Ireland's squad for their tour to Kenya in February 2012, and for their subsequent participation in the 2012 World Twenty20 Qualifier. During the Kenyan leg of the tour, Sorensen made his first-class debut against Kenya in the Intercontinental Cup. In a match dominated by spin bowlers, Sorensen was twice dismissed for a duck, once by spinner Hiren Varaiya in Ireland's first-innings and by Nehemiah Odhiambo in Ireland's second-innings. Timothy James Murtagh (born 2 August 1981) is an English-born Irish cricketer who is the current club captain of Middlesex County Cricket Club. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler who represented England in the 2000 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Murtagh played for the Surrey county team from 2000 to 2006, then moved to Middlesex, where he has played since. He first played for Ireland in 2012. In May 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Ireland's first Test match, against Pakistan. 2015 Cricket World Cup
The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup was the 11th Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament contested by men's national teams and organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It was jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015, and was won by Australia. This was the second time the tournament was held in Australia and New Zealand, the first having been the 1992 Cricket World Cup. Rakep Patel (born 12 July 1989) was a Kenyan international cricketer. A product of the Nairobi Gymkhana Club, he was a Wicket-Keeper–Batsman who played right-handed, but also occasionally bowled off spin.
