Max Schuemann
Maxwell Carter Schuemann (born June 11, 1997) is an American professional baseball infielder and outfielder for the Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024. Amateur career Schuemann attended Portage Northern High School in Portage, Michigan, where he played basketball and baseball. In 2014, his junior year, he hit .490 with 33 RBIs. He went unselected in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft and enrolled at Eastern Michigan University where he played college baseball. In 2018, his junior year, he batted .317 with four home runs, 30 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases over 56 games. After the season's end, he was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 20th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. Lansing Lugnuts
The Lansing Lugnuts are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Athletics (baseball), Athletics. They are located in Lansing, Michigan, and play their home games at Jackson Field (Lansing), Jackson Field. Triple-A West
The Pacific Coast League (PCL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the Western United States. Along with the International League, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). The PCL was one of the premier regional baseball leagues in the first half of the 20th century. Although it was never recognized as a true major league, to which it aspired, its quality of play was considered very high. Midland RockHounds
The Midland RockHounds are a Minor League Baseball team based in Midland, Texas. The team, which plays in the Texas League, is the Double-A affiliate of the Athletics major league club. The RockHounds play in Momentum Bank Ballpark, which opened in 2002 and seats 4,709 fans. The Beloit Sky Carp are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. New York–Penn League
The New York–Penn League (NYPL) was a Minor League Baseball league that operated in the northeastern United States from 1939 to 2020. Classified as a Class A Short Season league, its season started in June, after major-league teams signed their amateur draft picks to professional contracts, and ended in early September. In 2019, its last season of operation, the NYPL had 14 teams from eight different states.
