"Voyage of the Damned" is an episode of the British science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who''. First broadcast on BBC One on 25 December 2007, it is the third ''Doctor Who'' Christmas special since the show's revival in 2005. The episode was written by Russell T Davies and directed by James Strong. In the episode, the alien businessman Max Capricorn (George Costigan) seeks revenge on his company after it votes him out. He sets a starship replica of the RMS ''Titanic'' on a collision course with Earth to frame the board of directors for killing the humans on Earth. Nicholas Newton Henshall Witchell OStJ FRGS (born 23 September 1953) is a retired English journalist and news presenter. The latter half of his career was as royal correspondent for BBC News. Early life and career Witchell was born on 23 September 1953 in Shropshire. Murray Jonathan Gold (born 28 February 1969) is an English composer for stage, film, and television and a dramatist for both theatre and radio. He is best known as the musical director and composer of the music for ''Doctor Who'' from 2005–2017 and since 2023.
