Max Anstie
Max Anstie (born 25 April 1993) is a British professional motocross and Supercross racer. Anstie is the reigning FIM Supercross World Champion in the SX2 class. He is a two-time Australian Supercross champion in the SX2 class. Anstie has competed extensively in both the FIM Motocross World Championship, as well as the American-based AMA Supercross Championship and AMA Motocross Championship. He is a six time grand prix winner in the MX2 class of the FIM Motocross World Championship, with his best championship position being third overall in 2015. Anstie has represented his country at the Motocross des Nations on several occasions, the most notable being the 2017 edition of the event, where he helped Great Britain finish third by taking two race wins and being the best overall individual rider in the event. The 2017 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 61st FIM Motocross World Championship season. It included 20 events, starting at Losail in Qatar on 25 February, and ending at Villars-sous-Écot in France on 17 September. In the main MXGP class, Tim Gajser was the defending champion after taking his first title in 2016. In the MX2 class, Jeffrey Herlings was the 2016 champion, but he moved up to the MXGP class after taking his third MX2 title. Tim Gajser (born 8 September 1996) is a Slovenian professional motocross racer. He has competed in the FIM Motocross World Championships since 2012. Gajser is notable for being a five-time motocross world champion. Motocross career Gajser previously competed for the Gariboldi Honda motocross racing team managed by Giacomo Gariboldi. In the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship season, he won his first world championship in the MX2. Gajser moved up to the MX1 class and won the 2016 MX1 Motocross World Championship. The 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 58th F.I.M. Motocross World Championship season. It included 17 events including Qatar, Thailand, Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, Great Britain, France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Mexico. In the premier MXGP class, Tony Cairoli won his sixth consecutive championship title, matching the previous record set by Stefan Everts between 2001 and 2006.
