Max-Peter Ratzel
Max-Peter Ratzel (born in 1949 in Dillingen/Saar, Germany) is a German law enforcement officer, and a former director of Europol, the European Union law enforcement agency that handles criminal intelligence. Education Director Ratzel studied mathematics and physics in the University of Saarbrücken and served in the German Air Force. Career The career of Director Ratzel started in the Bundeskriminalamt (Federal Criminal Police Office, Wiesbaden, Germany) in 1976, as the Head of the Organised and General Crime Department. His unit which was specialised in combating child pornography, Internet crime, counterfeit money and human trafficking, had over 850 police officers under his supervision. Jürgen Storbeck (born 1946 in Flensburg, Germany) is a German law enforcement officer. He served as Director of Europol between 1999 and 2005. Education Storbeck studied law at the Universities of Bonn, Munich and Tübingen. Career After passing the second state examination in 1977, Director Storbeck started his career in the department of the higher services of the Federal Criminal Police Office (Germany), Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) in Wiesbaden, Germany as a superintendend. Sir Robert Mark Wainwright KCMG (born 17 September 1967) is a British civil servant. He was the director of Europol from 16 April 2009 until 1 May 2018. Education He was brought up in Pontyberem and attended Gwendraeth Grammar School. Wainwright was educated at the London School of Economics graduating with a BSc in 1989.
