Maurizio Buscaglia
Maurizio Buscaglia (born 9 April 1969) is an Italian professional basketball coach. He was most recently the head coach of Victoria Libertas Pesaro of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). Coaching career After spending years coaching the youth teams of two clubs in Perugia, and two more in Bologna, Buscaglia was offered the head coach role for the 1996–97 season, with Piove di Sacco. For the 2001–02 season, he began as the assistant coach of Bears Mestre in the Serie B Basket, Serie B (Italian 3rd Division), and later he was named the head coach of the team. In 2003, he was signed by Aquila Basket Trento, Aquila Trento, of Serie C1 (Italian 4th Division), where he stayed until 2007, and achieved a league promotion and relegation, promotion to Serie B Basket, Serie B in 2005. Radenko Varagić
Radenko Varagić (born 23 September 1973) is a Serbian Dutch basketball coach. He currently serves as a head coach for BAL Weert of the BNXT League. Coaching career Born in Serbia, Varagić started his coaching career in 2015 with Ribnica and during 2017 to 2011, he worked for Kraljevo, Krusevac and Novi Sad. After a period in the youth academy of Red Star Belgrade, he moved to the Netherlands in 2014. On 13 September 2016, Varagić was appointed as head coach of BSW of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL). After the 2016–17 season, the club went bankrupt and was replaced by BAL, as he took over as head coach of the club's new DBL team. EuroBasket 2022
The EuroBasket 2022 was the 41st edition of the EuroBasket championship organized by FIBA Europe. It was the first since it was agreed it would take place every four years, with a similar system of qualification as for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. It was originally scheduled to take place between 2 and 19 September 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to 2021, it was postponed to September 2022. Like the previous two editions, the tournament was co-hosted by four countries. Games in the group stage were held in the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, and Italy. Vincenzo Esposito
Vincenzo Esposito (; born March 1, 1969) is an Italian former professional basketball player and coach, he lastly worked for Germani Basket Brescia of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), in Italy. During his playing career, he played at the shooting guard position. Esposito was the first player signed by the Toronto Raptors of the NBA, also making him the first Italian signed by an NBA team. Antimo Martino
Antimo Martino (born 16 August 1978) is an Italian basketball coach, currently managing Pallacanestro Forlì 2.015 in the Lega Serie A2. He has also served as the head coach for Fortitudo Bologna. Career Antimo Martino started his coach-career with Virtus Roma as assistant coach from 2005 to 2014. 2019–20 LBA Season
The 2019–20 LBA season was the 98th season of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), the men's top tier professional basketball division of the Italian basketball league system. The regular season started on September 25, 2019, and was scheduled to finish on April 26, 2020. However, the season was cancelled prematurely because of the COVID-19 pandemic. EuroCup Basketball, commonly known as the EuroCup and currently called BKT EuroCup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual professional basketball club competition organized by Euroleague Basketball. The league is regarded as Euroleague Basketball's second-tier professional basketball club tournament.
