Maurizia Cacciatori
Maurizia Cacciatori (born 6 April 1973) is an Italian former volleyball player and sports commentator. Born in Carrara, Cacciatori has racked up 228 appearances in the Italian national team, winning a gold medal at the 2001 Mediterranean Games and being awarded best setter at the 1998 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. Personal life In 2006, Cacciatori was a contestant on the reality show ''L'Isola dei Famosi'' (Italian version of ''Celebrity Survivor''). Carrara ( ; ; , ) is a town and ''comune'' in Tuscany, in central Italy, of the province of Massa and Carrara, and notable for the white or blue-grey Carrara marble, marble quarried there.
