Maurice Schweitzer
Maurice Schweitzer (born 1967) is an American behavioral economist and author. He is a leader in the fields of trust, emotions, and the negotiation process. He is the Cecilia Yen Koo Professor in Operations, Information, and Decisions at the Wharton School. He has published over 100 articles in Management, Psychology, and Economics journals. Since May 25, 2023, his work has beecitedover 16,000 times. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and the Economist. Schweitzer is the co-author of the book Friend & Foe. Biography Maurice Schweitzer is the son of Suzanne Schweitzer and Stuart Schweitzer (Professor of health policy and management at University of California, Los Angeles, UCLA).
