Maula Jatt
''Maula Jatt'' (), is a 1979 Pakistani Punjabi-language action, musical film directed by Yunus Malik and produced by Sarwar Bhatti. The film is an unofficial sequel to the 1975 ''Wehshi Jatt'', starring Sultan Rahi as Maula Jatt and Mustafa Qureshi as his arch-rival Noori Natt. This film belongs to a genre which represents the rural culture of Pakistani central Punjab. Its success set the trend of action films being popular in Pakistan and cemented Sultan Rahi as Lollywood's main hero. The film was inspired by Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi's short story "Gandasa" which described the culture of Gujranwala's rural areas. It received positive reviews from critics. Nasir Adeeb (born 6 March 1947) is a Pakistani scriptwriter, chiefly working in Punjabi language films of Lollywood. He holds unasserted world record for writing maximum number of film scripts until date. He also wrote many novels, including an espionage spy novel which was published during his school days. He earned his recognition in the 1970s with his first classical film Wehshi Jatt and subsequently with ''Maula Jatt'', a mass market blockbuster film and with its characters like ''Noori Natt''. The film became a subject between the government of Pakistan and the filmmakers for its story written by Nasir Adeeb. Alam Lohar () was a Pakistani Punjabi folk music singer. He is widely regarded as the greatest singer of Punjabi folk music. He is credited with creating and popularising the musical term Jugni. Early life Alam Lohar was born in 1928 in Achh, near Kotla Arab Ali Khan, Gujrat District of Punjab, British India. He was born into a Punjabi Muslim family of Lohars (blacksmiths). Inayat Hussain Bhatti
Inayat Hussain Bhatti (; 12 January 1928 – 31 May 1999) was a Pakistani film playback singer, film actor, producer, director, script writer, social worker, columnist, religious scholar and an active advocate of the development of the Punjabi language and literature. In a career spanning some 50 years, he acted in more than 300 movies, produced 30 as well and also directed some, while as a musician he provided approximately 350 songs for some 200 movies.
