Matěj Majka
Matěj Majka (born 31 January 2000) is a Czech semi-professional footballer who plays as a winger for Czech Fourth Division club FK Olympie Březová. Majka is a product of the Sparta Prague academy and began his professional career in England with Brentford. He failed to break into the first team squad and following his release in 2020, he played lower league football in the Czech Republic and Germany. Majka was capped by the Czech Republic at youth level. Club career Sparta Prague A winger, Majka entered the Sparta Prague academy at age 14 and progressed sufficiently to be awarded the Vlastislav Mareček Award at the 2016 FAČR Grassroots Gala. He was an unused substitute for the first team on two occasions during the 2016–17 season and appeared for the U19 team in Sparta's 2016–17 and 2017–18 UEFA Youth League campaigns. Sokolov, Czech Republic
Sokolov (, until 1948 Falknov nad Ohří; ) is a town in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 22,000 inhabitants. 2016–17 UEFA Youth League
The 2016–17 UEFA Youth League was the fourth season of the UEFA Youth League, a European youth club football competition organised by UEFA. Chelsea were the title holders after winning the previous two editions. However, since the UEFA Youth League title holders were not given an automatic qualifying place, and both the Chelsea senior team failed to qualify for the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League and the Chelsea academy team failed to win the 2015–16 Professional U18 Development League 1, they did not qualify for this tournament to defend their title. The Czech First League () also known as the Chance Liga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in the Czech Republic and the highest level of the Czech Republic football league system. Czech Cup
The Czech Cup (), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association. The Czech Cup was first held in 1961. The winner would then face the winner of the Slovak Cup in the Czechoslovak Cup final. This competition was discontinued in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia into two independent states (Czech Republic and Slovakia). Landesliga Bayern-Nordost
The Landesliga Bayern-Nordost () is currently the sixth tier of the German football league system in northeastern Bavaria and the third tier of the Bavarian football league system. It is one of five Landesligas in Bavaria, the other four being the Landesliga Südwest, Landesliga Mitte, Landesliga Nordwest and Landesliga Südost. The league champion automatically qualifies for the Bayernliga, the runners-up needs to compete with the runners-up of the other four Landesligas and a number of Bayernliga teams for another promotion spot. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract.
