Len Matuszek
Leonard James Matuszek (born September 27, 1954), is an American former professional baseball first baseman and outfielder, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, and Los Angeles Dodgers from to . He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. Matuszek is an alumnus of the University of Toledo, where he played both varsity baseball and basketball, for all four of his college years. He was inducted into the Varsity “T” Athletic Hall-Of-Fame, in 1986. Career Matuszek attended Moeller High School in Cincinnati and led his Crusader baseball team to the Ohio State Championship, in 1972. It was Moeller’s first State Title (in any team sport) in school history. He also led the Greater Cincinnati League (GCL) in scoring during his senior year in basketball, averaging 18.4 points per game (ppg). Szymon Matuszek
Szymon Matuszek (born 7 January 1989) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently an assistant coach of Ekstraklasa club Górnik Zabrze. Career In February 2011, he was loaned to Chojniczanka Chojnice on a half-year deal. He returned to Piast Gliwice at the conclusion of the loan spell. On 4 August 2020, he moved to Miedź Legnica. On 9 September 2023, Matuszek joined II liga side GKS Jastrzębie on a deal until June 2025. He left the club by mutual consent on 1 July 2024. Gabriela Matuszek-Stec (born 31 December 1953 in Jaworzno) is a Polish literary historian, essayist, critic and translator of German literature. Biography Matuszek-Stec is a professor of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, specializing in the literature of the 19th and 20th century - primarily with Stanisław Przybyszewski, the naturalistic drama and modern prose, Polish-German literature associations and literary translation. From 1983 to 1987 she lectured on Polish literature at the Humboldt University of Berlin, there was a visiting professor (2004 and 2006), as in Jena, Cologne, Leipzig, Vienna, Grenoble and Prague.
