Career In 2016, Johnson first appeared on season 2 of ''The Bachelorette Australia'' where he ended as the runner-up. In 2017, Johnson then appeared on season 5 of ''The Bachelor Australia'' where he chose Laura Byrne as the winner and Elise Stacy as the runner-up. Laura Byrne (born 25 March 1986) is an Australian radio host, podcaster, television personality and writer who was the winner of the fifth season of Network 10's '' The Bachelor Australia.'' Mollymook is a town located on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia approximately three hours' drive south of Sydney within the City of Shoalhaven local government area.
