Matthieu Chedid
Matthieu Chedid (born 21 December 1971) is a French multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Chedid began his career as a session musician playing both acoustic and electric guitar. In the late 1990s, he rose to fame as a singer-songwriter and musician under the alias M (often stylized as -M-), blending Nouvelle Chanson, electronic and rock music. In studio, he experiments with various instruments and electronic music, while on tour as -M- he mostly plays the guitar, and is known for his eccentric outfits and dramatic live performances, sometimes including special effects. Chedid has also performed in the 2005 stage musical '' Le soldat rose'' and is part of French-Malian band Lamomali. Matthieu Jost (born 8 January 1981) is a French former competitive ice dancer. With Pernelle Carron, he is the 2007 Skate Canada International bronze medallist, 2007 Winter Universiade bronze medallist, and 2008 Karl Schäfer Memorial champion. They placed sixth at the 2009 European Championships and ninth at the 2009 World Championships. Career Jost began competing internationally with Roxane Petetin in the mid-1990s. They competed for three seasons on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and placed 11th at the 2000 World Junior Championships. Petetin/Jost moved up to the senior level in the 2000–01 season. Matthieu Hartley (born 4 February 1960) is an English musician, best known as the keyboardist for The Cure from 1979-1980. Biography Hartley was born in Smallfield, England, near Crawley, and was a childhood friend of future bandmate Simon Gallup. Hartley and Gallup were both members of the punk bands Lockjaw and the Magazine Spies in the late 1970s. These bands often played alongside early versions of the Cure. Near the end of 1979, The Cure needed a new bassist following the departure of founding member Michael Dempsey, and recruited Gallup for the position. Gallup suggested adding Hartley as the band's first full-time keyboardist to broaden their sound. Matthieu Fontaine (born 9 April 1987) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defender. He played on the professional level in Ligue 2 for Stade Reims. Career Fontaine came through the youth system at Lens, however he wasn't offered a professional contract by them. In the summer of 2008 he signed a two-year deal with Reims. Matthieu Dreyer (born 20 March 1989) is a French professional footballer who has played as a goalkeeper for club Strasbourg. Club career Dreyer began his career in Alsace playing for local club AS Ernolsheim/Bruche. In 2003, he moved to the famous Sochaux academy. During his youth career with Sochaux, he won the Coupe Gambardella in 2007.
