Matthias Murmann
Matthias Joachim Murmann, (né ''Matthias Joachim Schulz''; born 28 August 1984) is a German film producer. He is known for shows such as Neo Magazin and How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). Murmann was awarded the Grimme-Preis and the Deutscher Fernsehpreis. Education After an audio-visual media designer apprenticeship, Murmann studied Film and Television at Academy of Media Arts Cologne. From 2008 until 2012, Murmann produced several short films, adverts, and music videos. His 2010 film Armadingen (co-produced with Philipp Käßbohrer) was awarded several short-film festival prizes. Murmann's and Käßbohrer's first feature film ''Das Problem des Schnellstfluges'' was released in 2016. Career Following ''Armadingen'', Matthias Murmann and Philipp Käßbohrer began working on a concept for a late-night talk show featuring Jan Böhmermann and Charlotte Roche. ZDFneo
ZDFneo is a German free-to-air television channel, programmed for an audience aged 25 to 49 to counter the primarily older-skewing main channels of public broadcasters ZDF and ARD. It replaced ZDF's documentary channel ZDFdokukanal on 1 November 2009. History On 1 October 2017, the station was to receive a new on-air design and a new broadcasting logo; this was brought forward to 26 September 2017. Distribution ZDFneo is broadcast (along with the rest of ZDFvision) via DVB-T digital terrestrial television, receivable in most areas of Germany. It is also transmitted in DVB-C through German cable networks, and in DVB-S from the Astra 1H satellite. Since 30 April 2012, ZDFneo has been broadcast in HD (720p). A showrunner (or colloquially a helmer) is the top-level executive producer of a television series production who has creative and management authority through combining the responsibilities of employer and, in comedy or dramas, typically also the head writer, script and story editor. They consult with network and studio bosses and lead the artistic vision of the show, including the writers room, editing department, as well as select the set design, staff, cast members, and each actor's wardrobe and hairstyle. In many instances, the showrunner also created the show, and subsequent seasons could feature different showrunners. Maren Kroymann
Maren Kroymann (; born 19 July 1949) is a German actress, comedian and singer. Career Kroymann was born in Walsrode. She studied English, Roman studies, and American studies at University of Tübingen. After spending time in Paris and the United States, Kroymann moved to Berlin, where she sang in the '' Hanns-Eisler'' Choir. As ''Nachtschwester Kroymann'' (1993–1997), she was the first woman in German public television with her own satirical show. In recent years, Kroymann has appeared in a number of German films. ARD is a joint organisation of Germany's regional public-service broadcasters. It was founded in 1950 in West Germany to represent the common interests of the new, decentralised, post-war broadcasting services – in particular the introduction of a joint television network. The ARD has a budget of €6.9 billion, 22,612 employees and is the largest public broadcaster network in the world. The budget comes primarily from a licence fee which every household, company and public institution are required by law to pay. For an ordinary household the fee is currently €18.36 per month. 1LIVE is a radio station operated by the Westdeutscher Rundfunk public broadcasting corporation in Germany. It specialises in popular music aimed at the 14–39 age demographic, the average age of its listeners is 34. History On 1 April 1995, 1LIVE first aired. 1LIVE was intended to replace WDR1 as a more youth centric radio station, this was because WDR1 had an ever ageing listenership. Infotainment (a portmanteau of ''information'' and ''entertainment''), also called soft news as a way to distinguish it from serious journalism or hard news, is a type of media, usually television or online, that provides a combination of information and entertainment.
