Duchy Of Schleswig
The Duchy of Schleswig (; ; ; ; ; ) was a duchy in Southern Jutland () covering the area between about 60 km (35 miles) north and 70 km (45 mi) south of the current border between Germany and Denmark. The territory has been divided between the two countries since 1920, with South Jutland County, Northern Schleswig in Denmark and Southern Schleswig in Germany. The region is also called Sleswick in English. Unlike Duchy of Holstein, Holstein and Saxe-Lauenburg, Lauenburg, Schleswig was never a part of the German Confederation. Cloppenburg
Cloppenburg (; ; ) is a town in Lower Saxony, in north-western Germany, capital of Cloppenburg District and part of Oldenburg Münsterland. It lies 38 km south-south-west of Oldenburg in the Weser-Ems region between Bremen and the Dutch border. Cloppenburg is not far from the A1, the major motorway connecting the Ruhr area to Bremen and Hamburg. Eenrum
Eenrum (; ) is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of Het Hogeland, 17 km northwest of the city of Groningen. Eenrum was a separate municipality until 1990, then it was merged with Ulrum, Kloosterburen and Leens. History Eenrum is a ''terp'' (artificial mount) village dating from the Middle Ages. The village was first mentioned in the 10th or 11th century as De Arnarion. The origin of the name is unknown. The church dates from the late 13th century. It had established a local government in 1798, but officially became a municipality in 1808. Bernd Diener (born 19 June 1959) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Germany. He competed in Speedway, Longtrack and Grasstrack and is a two times World longtrack team champion. Career Diener has twice been on the podium in the World Longtrack Championship 1996 & 2004. He became a team World longtrack team champion in 2008 and 2012 respectively. Diener won the European Grasstrack Championship in 1999. Diener won the German national longtrack championship in 2000 and went on to finish fifth in the World Championship that year. Diener won the German championship silver medal three times and bronze medal seven times spanning the years 1995 to 2019. Diener retired in 2023. He earned one international cap for the German national speedway team. Career Katt was a member of Germany national long track team and is a six times World Team Champion. In addition, he also won the German national longtrack championship three times. He rode in Britain for Somerset Rebels in 2003 and from 2006 to 2008. In 2023, he was part of the German team, along with Erik Riss, Martin Smolinski and Jörg Tebbe, that won the silver medal at the 2023 Team Long Track World Championship. Gerd Riss (born 17 March 1965) is a German former speedway rider. He competed in motorcycle speedway and longtrack racing. He is an eight-times World longtrack champion. He also earned 22 international caps for the West German national speedway team and 12 international caps for the German national speedway team. Career Riss reached his first world longtrack final in 1984, finishing a creditable sixth behind Erik Gundersen, at the Sandbahn Rennen Herxheim in Herxheim bei Landau/Pfalz, Germany. He rode for MC Krumbach in 1983 and 1984 and started for the first time in the British leagues when he joined Poole Pirates for the 1984 British League season. Riss joined Wolverhampton Wolves in 1985 but left mid-way through the season. Forus is an industrial district in the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. Marmande
Marmande (; in Occitan language, Occitan, ''Marmanda'') is a Communes of France, commune in the Lot-et-Garonne ''Departments of France, département'' in south-western France. Geography Marmande is located 35 km north-west of Agen, on the southern railway from Bordeaux to Sète. The town is situated at the confluence of the Trec (river), Trec with the Garonne on the right bank of the latter river, which is crossed at this point by a suspension bridge.
